Washington Redskins fire Mike Shanahan

As the Redskins ended their 3-13 season on Sunday, they also ended their relationship with Mike Shanahan as he was fired following the Redskins 6-20 loss to the New York Giants.  After four seasons with the Redskins, there have been rumors of his termination due to bad relation with team owner Dan Snyder, in addition to the horrible season the Redskins just had.  In his four years with the Redskins, Shanahan was 24-40 in regular season, and was 0-1 in the postseason.

The search of a new coach begins, and the speculated successor are Robert Griffin’s former coach at Baylor University, Art Briles, Greg Roman, Lovie Smith, former Bears coach, Greg Roman of San Francisco, and Darrell Bevell of the Seattle Seahawks.
