Barely a week after suffering a concussion in the loss against the Atlanta Falcons, RG3 bounced back on Sunday as he lead the Redskins to their first home win of the season as they beat the Minnesota Vikings 38 to 26.
Robert Griffin had the best game of his young career as he ran for 138 yards on 13 carries, two touch downs-one of which was a 76 yards sprint, completed 17 of 22 passes for 182 yards, and one touchdown.
Although the Redskins defense started out slowly as the skins went down by nine points earlier on, the Redskins defense kept the Vikings at bay, as they limited the Vikings to only nine points in the first quarter, and totally keeping them scoreless in the second quarter. Although the defense allowed 421 yards, they had a decent game, as they were able to hold the Vikings to four field goals in the red zone, sack their QB four times during the game, and forced two turnovers. DeAngello Hall intercepted Vikings QB to end the game and kill any hope the Vikings had of coming back.
