Redskins fans, it is the now the third “Official RGIII Day” for the Washington Redskins, and this time, RGIII will try to show off his skills against the Bengals. The Bengals are coming off a 34-27 victory over the Cleveland Browns, and the Redskins will be looking to rebound after a 28-31 loss suffered to the St. Louis Rams. It is extremely important that the Redskins get off to quick start and avoid any early demoralizing losses, however, they started off quickly last season, but the wheels fell off much sooner than anyone expected. With Orakpo and Carriker now both out for the season, and with Pierre Garcon not suiting up for the second consecutive week, the Redskins will need to have others step up to fill in the gaps left by the three starters. If you don’t think that can be done, just look at what the Redskins division rival, the New York Giants, were able to do on Thursday nights game, the replacement players dominated. If the Redskins would like to start the season off 2-1 and be right in the hunt for a playoff spot (yes, I know it’s only week three), then winning games like this is extremely important.
