The Saint Louis Rams bounced back from a slow start that saw them down 21-6, and then came back to take a 23-21 lead against the Redskins. Although the Redskins took an early led with just 11 seconds into the game with RGIII throwing a touchdown pass and running for two touch-downs, RGIII was not able to help his team beat the St. Louis Rams who improved 1-1 on Sunday night. Griffin completed 20 of 29 passes for 206-yards, and ran 82 yards, but unlike in the season opener against the saints, this time around, it was Sam Bradford’s turn to shine and ensure the Rams win the game.

Although he had one interception, Ram’s QB Sam Bradford had an outstanding game completing 26 of 35 passes for 310 yards, and he threw three touchdown passes. Another Ram’s players that stood out in today’s game was Matthew Amendola as he caught five passes for 70 yards, scored a touchdown from a 1-yard reception, and also tied NFL record with 12 first half catches.

The Redskins were without wide receiver Pierre Garcon who was injured in last week’s game against the New Orleans Saints, and they suffered more injury losses in today’s game as LB Bryan Orakpo, and Defensive End Adam Carriker were injured in the first half of the game. Rams offensive tackle Roger Saffold also went out of the game due to a right knee injury in the first half.

The Redskins will be at home against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday September 23rd, at 1pm EST.
