Redskins Lose Offensive Weapons as they Drop to 3-3

On October 22, 2011 in Caroline, the Redskins were hoping for much better results in John Becks first game as a starter. Instead, the Redskins walked away with their second straight loss, and lost Santana Moss for a considerable amount of time to a broken hand, along with Tim Hightower for the season with a torn ACL. Trying to get past those losses and getting over the fact that this season has taken a turn for the worst for the Redskins, we still have to try and point out some of the positives.

John Beck was a major improvement at QB over Grossman, completing 22 of 37 attempts for 279 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Beck also ran for a touchdown on of his 3 rushes, where he gained a total of 10 yards. Beck has rushed for two touchdowns in as many weeks, and actually has more rushing touchdowns then throwing touchdowns. Jabar Gaffney also had a solid game, but we’ll wait and see on him to see how he performs when matched up against their opposition’s number one corner back.

Next week the Redskins will be traveling to Buffalo to face the Bills. Check back with this Washington Redskins Blog for all the necessary Redskins news related to that matchup.
