Division Leading Redskins Rally in Fourth

That’s right, I said it, the Division Leading Washington Redskins won to start the season 2-0. Yes it’s early, but Redskins fans must enjoy seeing the Redskins on top of the NFC East for once. After knocking around the Giants in the second half of the week 1 matchup, the Redskins took advantage of a strong 4th quarter performance to take control of the Arizona Cardinals in week 2, and win with a score of 22-21. Some of the notable performers in the game were Tim Hightower with 96 yards on 20 carries, Fred Davis with 6 catches for 86 yards, and once again, a good game from Rex Grossman who threw for 291 and 2 TD’s on 25 completions. Keep in mind that the Redskins are 2-0, and still are waiting for their best defensive player, Laron Landry, to recover from his injury and start striking fear into receivers and quarterbacks all over the league.

Next week the Redskins will look to maintain their division lead and increase the margin between them and the Cowboys. The Redskins will be heading to Dallas to take on what may be a Romo-less Cowboys team. Keep up with Redskins 360 and we will provide you with all the insight regarding the Redskins that you need.
